Overview[]
The Orion Escape Tower is a fairing in the Orion assembly, and the largest escape tower in the game. The tower will prevent the capsule from being destroyed in the event of a first stage failure.
The part has both aesthetic and functional uses. The escape tower is not always needed as the Orion Crew Capsule appears to be aerodynamic enough to avoid overheating.
Trivia[]
- When placed on top of a Draco Capsule, it only covers half of the capsule. However, the capsule does not overheat even though the bug is a non-aerodynamic design.
- It is the most aesthetically pleasing fairing for most players.
